Maxwell–– Lawrence E., 78, formerly of Lake Placid, New York, died on July 8, 2011, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, New York with his son by his side. Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends wishing to remember Mr. Maxwell may make memorial contributions to the Lake Placid Volunteer Ambulance Service, in care of the funeral home. Lee M. Hydeman, noted Washington D.C. aviation attorney, died at his home in Sarasota, FL on July 17, 2011. He had cancer.
Gratton–– Alexander Ray, infant child of Raymond Todd and Vicky (Derbyshire) Gratton of Barton, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 20 at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Winooski. Arrangements are with the LaVigne Funeral Home in Winooski.

Harvie–– Stuart, 88, husband of Ruth and a long time summer resident of Newport, VT, passed away on January 2, 2011. Interment services will be held on Saturday, July 23, at 11 a.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport.
