Barton Village Residents Elect New Trustee

Jay Foster Gerber 1963 - 2015

On Sunday, March 1, Jay Gerber of Tomifobia, Quebec and Newport, Vermont died peacefully at home after a brief illness. For the last several years, Jay taught in the schools of Vermont’s North East Kingdom. Prior to his teaching career, he spent more than ten years in Toronto, Ontario working for Quo Vadis International as a Director and VP of Sales and Marketing. A graduate of Stanstead College, he held a degree in Mathematics from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, and studied education at Lyndon State College in Vermont.
