NCU Field Hockey Hopes to Resume Play This Saturday

September 25, 2014

NEWPORT–If it seems like the North Country field hockey team has been strangely absent from these pages you would not be the only one.
It has been a long time since the Falcons have last played a game, and when they finally resume their schedule this Saturday against Spaulding it will be exactly two weeks to the day since their last game on September 13th when they defeated the Montpelier Solons 2-0 to get to 4-0 on the season.
What could be the reason for this?
Well technically it is a two-part answer
Did the Hand, Foot and Mouth disease play a roll in this situation?

After a slow start the Ranger offense started to click and the team went on to score four goals in each half to come away with the 8-0 victory.
