7-0 win for Lake Region Boys Over Richford

October 9, 2011

RICHFORD – After suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat to the Hazen Wildcats, the Lake Region Rangers got back to their winning way Thursday afternoon, beating the Falcons of Richford by a score of 7-0. Tony Stuart lead the Lake Region scoring attack with 2 goals; while Caleb Royer, Kyle Perry, Josh Thibault, Corey Whitten, and Brian Mosher each found the back of the net once for the Blue and White. Alex Beauregard recorded his 2nd shutout of the year as the Rangers improve their record to 5-4. Coach Tom Evans said, “It was good to get a lot of goals and give a lot of people playing time.” The Rangers will be back in action today as face off against a tough Enosburg Hornets team at Ranger Field. This is a make-up of last Tuesday’s rain-delayed contest. Kick-off is set for 4:00.
