DERBY LINE – Senator Bernie Sanders was in Derby Line Friday afternoon to power up the newly completed solar net metering project at the Unitarian Universalist Church.
After last minute adjustments to the system in the morning, he was on hand to throw the switch for first one, then the second inverter, which allowed the array of solar panels on the church hall roof to start sending juice to the grid.
