JAY-North Country out-shot U-32 38-9, but had to rely on some last second magic by Whitney Bernier to come away with 3-2 win.
"We worked really hard, and got it done," said Emilie Paul, the team's leader in on-ice minutes.
Mikaella Doran had seven saves for the 13-3-1 Falcons while Cheyenne Smith stopped thirty-five for 2-12 U-32.
The girls have a week off before their next contest, a 5:00 rematch on Saturday with Brattleboro, who upset the Falcons 2-1 last month.
