Blittersdorf Surrenders Kidder Hill Wind CPG

The Public Utility Commission is closing a case against renewable energy developer David Blittersdorf after he agreed to surrender a Certificate of Public Good for two wind turbines on Kidder Hill in Irasburg. Neighbors Robert and Nancy Garthwaite filed the complaint in 2016 alleging the towers are no sited according to the application. One tower is 600 feet from the Garthwaite's seasonal home and the brakes make noise that they find disturbing. Read more in the Newport Daily Express.
