BROWNINGTON - The reconstruction of Bridge 9 on the Center Road dividing the Towns of Brownington and Barton will be completed this May when expansion joints, which need to be approved by state and federal agencies, are finished to allow flexibility during earthquakes or other events.The bridge, probably built in the 1950s, was completely destroyed during Tropical Storm Irene in 2011.
