CRAFTSBURY–Chris DeLaBruere, the former United Christian Academy standout and Current Craftsbury Charger, scored his 1000th point for Craftsbury Academy, as they won their Division IV playoff game versus Blue Mountain on Wednesday night by the score of 51-45.
“We came out extremely flat and fell from behind right from the opening tip,” said Craftsbury coach Derek Cipriano. “They packed it in a zone and made it very tough for us to get inside. They were a very hard working team and we could not get any shots to fall, but we never gave up and were able to force overtime. We held them to one point in overtime and did a good job controlling the tempo.”
