DERBY CENTER – The sixth annual Cultural Diversity Day was held at North Country Union Junior High School on Friday.
Five elementary schools joined the junior high to listen to presentations made by students from Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Charleston, Newport Town, Coventry, Holland, and Brighton elementary schools participated in the event. The diversity group attends St. Johnsbury Academy and that school's culinary arts program provided snacks for the occasion.
