Early Goal Sinks Rangers

FAIRFAX – The Lady Rangers of Lake Region faced off against a tough BFA-Fairfax Bullets team Wednesday afternoon, and came away empty handed with a 1-0 loss. An early first half score by the Bullets doomed with Rangers, who never were able to mount much of a charge. Jordyn Cowles started in goal for Lake Region and made 12 saves. Coach Brad Urie said that his team, “never responded after trailing early.”
The Rangers finished their season with a record of 8-5-1 and currently sit 7th in the Division 2 standings, but they will need to wait until Monday afternoon before they will officially know their playoff fate.
