Zach Tweed in action against Spaulding on Wednesday

NEWPORT– North Country’s boys tennis team defeated a significantly under-manned Spaulding boys tennis team at Prouty Beach on Wednesday by the score of 7-0.
It was a strong performance by the team as they managed to go the entire day without losing a set in any of the matches played.
The Crimson Tide was able to bring only five of their ten players to the match so they chose to default first and second singles and first doubles putting them down 0-3 before the other matches got underway.
Steve Raboin, Zach Tweed, Travers Parsons-Grayson won their singles matches and the team of Fred Petzoldt and Chris Meredith won in doubles action.
