FIRE IN GLOVER

GLOVER - Wednesday evening, the home of Edmond Renault went up in flames.
According to Deputy Sheriff Phil Brooks, who was on the scene, a liquor control agent spotted the fire on Dry Pond Road (Rt. 16) just south of Glover Village. The same agent spotted Renault standing outside the burning trailer and had him get into the warm vehicle.
Renault was taken by ambulance a little later.
Fire departments on the scene included Glover, Barton and Orleans. As of press time, the cause of the fire was unknown.
