Junior High School Board Laments Bond Vote Loss — Will Try Again On Town Meeting Day

DERBY CENTER - The North Country Union Junior High School board voted Tuesday night to bring the $1.9 million bond request back to the voters. The board cited a light turnout and a lack of publicity as reasons the bond failed by 21 votes out of a little more than 200 cast in five sending school districts on Tuesday, Jan 21.
