ORLEANS-When you enter the second season, you have to take it one game at a time. Don’t look ahead , don’t be distracted and keep your focus.
That is exactly what the Lake Region Ranger boys did Wednesday night, as they demolished visiting Springfield 76-45 in the play-down round of the Division II bracket.
The Rangers may have gotten a break as they will take on Otter Valley, the number 11 seed as they pulled off the overtime upset, beating number six seed Mill River 77-72. A player to watch Saturday will be OV’s Ryan Kelley, who jacked up 43 points in the win.
Tip-off is at 2 PM Saturday at Don Harter Memorial Gymnasium on the campus of Lake Region Union.
