TROY - Officials and friends of the Troy Elementary School are asking voters for a fourth time on March 28 to approve a bond for renovations and repairs to the school. The school board will hold an informational meeting at the school 7 p.m. March 27. Voters will accept or reject the vote by Australian ballot.   
The Troy Elementary School board of directors and principal have been trying to get a bond for the work they feel is necessary. The board started out by asking for $2.2 million early 2012. Each time voters rejected the bond the board went back to the drawing table and scaled back the project. Voters last rejected a $1.1 million bond in early January. Since then parents of Troy Elementary School students have been working on getting a petition to ask voters to reconsider the issue.
