DERBY - The Vermont Legislature will offer a resolution honoring Vietnam veterans on Friday, March 29, at 9 a.m. at the State House. Saturday marks the 41st anniversary commemorating the end of the war. The resolution is co-sponsored by Representative Vickie Strong of Albany.

A veteran of the Vietnam War left a countryside in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont in 1967, traveling across the world to join the conflict. Ross Davis lives in Craftsbury but was born and raised in Albany.
