BURLINGTON–With temperatures hovering near 90 degrees, the Division I Vermont State track and field took place at Burlington High School’s athletic complex.
It would be a big day for the Essex Hornets, as they swept both the girls (156.5 pts.) and boys (115.2 pts.) divisions to win both titles.
North Country sent over about a dozen athletes to the meet, and would bring one first place finish, one second, two thirds and a fourth place, placing sixth on the girls side (31 pts.) and 13th on the boys (4 pts.)
