Hi Folks,
Here is a quick round-up of what happened on Wednesday night.
For hockey fans, it was a great night at the Ice Haus, as a packed house witnessed the Falcons win both ends of the doubleheader.
The girls defeated Stowe 5-0, and the boys took down Colchester 3-1.
Turning to the hard-court, Craftsbury's girls defeated South Royalton 34-31, in what coach Rick Thomas said was the first "true home play-off game" for his team.
Lake Region fell short in their goal of making it to the D II final's, as they lost to Burr and Burton 80-62, and lastly, BHS bounced North Country from the post-season with a score of 58-32.
Looking ahead, the NCU hockey girls will face Middlebury on Saturday in Jay at 2:00 in the Lake Division II semi's.
The Falcon boys will play South Burlington on either Friday night or Saturday.
*Craftsbury could be in action against Arlington on Saturday at 5:00, but with Arlington's boys losing in the D IV semi's, it might be 2:00.
We will have updates and more tomorrow, and for the full stories, pictures and more, check out Friday's Express on 3-8-13.
Hope to see y'all at the game.
