Lady Rangers Win Multiple Mountain League Awards

The Mountain League Champion Lake Region Lady Rangers were the recipients of seven league awards this season.
Tyrah Urie was named player of the year and selected to the first team.
Haley Kennedy and Jordyn Cowles were also first team selections.
Katie Menard, Megan Menard and Karamae Hayman-Jones were all selected to the second team.
Brad Urie was chosen as the top coach in the league for the second time.
Lake Region was the top ranked team in Division II this year and their season ended when they were upset in the quarterfinals by the Milton Yellowjackets last Saturday in Orleans.

Arlington Eliminates Lady Chargers In Semifinals

ARLINGTON-The Craftsbury Lady Chargers took their turn in a semi-final match on Wednesday afternoon, as they were hosted by the top seeded Arlington Eagles.
The long bus ride looked as if it took a toll on the team, as the Lady Chargers came out very flat in the first half, falling behind early to the Eagles, who would eventually fight their way to to five goals in the 5-0 victory that would send them to the Championship game.

Twin Valley Ends Craftsbury Chargers’ Magical Season

WILMINGTON-The Craftsbury Chargers played in their first Division IV soccer semi-final game in close to twenty years on Tuesday afternoon when they matched up against the number one seeded Twin Valley Wildcats.
It was their toughest test of the season and the results showed, as Twin Valley was able to dominate in the game, breaking down the Charger defense for 31 shots throughout the contest and finishing with a 3-0 victory.

North Country Field Hockey Heading to Division III Finals, UDPDATED!

SO. BURLINGTON–They did it.
After two unsuccessful bids to try to make it to the Division III field hockey finals, for the North Country Falcons the third time was the charm, as they performed the always difficult feat of defeating a team three times in one season, beating the St. Johnsbury Hilltoppers 2-1 on Adrianna Fournier's game winning goal to make it to the big dance.
"This is a pure adrenaline rush. I don't even have any words," NCU coach Chantelle Bouchard said when the game was over.
The Falcons will face Stowe at UVM on Saturday at 2:00 for the Division III Title
