Glass Kills The Chinese Market For Recyclables

A decision by the Chinese government to not accept single stream recyclables because of the presence of glass has tanked the per ton price, financially affecting users of the solid waste industry. On Monday evening Pat Austin advised the Newport City council these and other costs will be passed along to the municipality's solid waste district customers. Read more in the Newport Daily Express.
