North Country UHS Realizes Healthy Budget Surplus

North Country UHS's board was pleased to learn the business office anticipates a $373,000 budget surplus this past fiscal year. Revenues were down slightly while expenses dropped by over $600,000 leading to the surplus. The funds must be returned to the taxpayer or with voter approval targeted for maintenance projects and equipment acquisition. Read more in the Newport Daily Express.
