Rebels Hold Off Boys, Girls Defeat MMU in Hockey Action.

Burlington Rebels scored three goals in the first and one in the third to beat North Country 4-3 on Wednesday evening.Matt Beachle had a hat trick, netting two in the first with the other coming on a penalty shot in the third.The Falcons got a goal from Travis Tetreault in the second and a pair from Ryan Paul in the third, but the Beachle's penalty shot was the difference in the game.Dana Marsh had 28 saves in the loss.The 4-4-1 Falcon boys and 6-3 Falcon girls are now off for 10 days before returning to action on the 25th.Speaking of the ladies, in the girls game, Whitney Bernier had two goals, including the overtime winner as North Country defeated the MMU Cougars in Essex.
