NEWPORT – Turing Points is experiencing a surge in student population and is outgrowing its current location. The program's directors now have their eyes on the former Mogan Elementary School, E. Taylor Hatton, as a possible future location. Morgan decided last year to close the school and send students to Derby. What to do with the building remains a question.  The possibility of locating Turning Points to the Morgan facility will be discussed at Town Meeting in March. Turing Points needs to find a new location by the next school year, beginning in the fall of 2013, directors say, and they have been exploring possibilities and are hopeful the Morgan school location could work out, calling it a “beautiful school and setting.”For more of this story, see Page 1 of Tuesday's edition of the Newport Daily Express for Feb. 12, 2013.
