ORLEANS–The Don Harter Memorial Gymnasium was rocking on Wednesday night, as several fans took the trip up I-91 to cheer on the Lyndon Institute Vikings as they took on the host Lake Region Rangers.
The Ranger side of the gymnasium was packed to capacity, as they were hoping for a chance to see a bit of history, as Riley Urie was at 974 career points, and he needed just 26 more to join the exclusive 1,000 point club.
The game would be an intense back-and-forth affair, but in the end Lyndon would pick up the 55-49 win and Riley would finish the game just two points shy of 1,000.
